Sundet, near Faaborg, was restored as a lake in 2000 when a network of trails was also established around Sundet. From the trails, it is possible to observe the lake’s birdlife consisting of many ducks and wading birds. Rest areas and fine vantage points are located in the hills (Sundbakkerne) behind Sundet, and the Prices Have wood to the east with 140-year-old oak trees is also worth visiting.
