Brændegårds Lake

             Brændegårds Sø

Brændegårds Lake is the setting for one of Northern Europe’s largest colonies of Cormorants, which nest high in the trees. As the excrement from the cormorants is hard on the trees, many have died and the lake is very rich in nutrients. The lake and environs are teeming with birdlife and are also a habitat for the White-Tailed Eagle.
