The great outdoors are here to be explored and enjoyed.
The South Funen Archipelago is brimming with adventure, events and activities throughout the vast shallow seas where porpoises and seals frolic and search for food and thousands of birds live on or near the numerous islands and islets. The wild flora is unique and the Archipelago has some of the largest salt meadows in Denmark.

Much of the South Funen Archipelago has been designated as a special wildlife protection area due to the breeding bird sanctuaries and vulnerable natural habitats. Therefore, strict precautions must be observed when moving in or near these areas to maintain their abundant flora and fauna for posterity.
